Peter Walsh is from the province of Newfoundland & Labrador in Canada having worked the majority of his career in the oil and gas industry in both Canada and Australia. Peter is an Automation and Instrumentation specialist having boot strapped an automation company in 2007 growing the company to service major Oil & Gas clients in Canada and Australia.
In 2020 Peter co-founded and led a reservoir and production engineering software company in Australia specializing in advanced science and math driven analytics using machine learning algorithms and neural networks. The company has commercialized its SAAS software platform and sold licenses to major oil and gas companies in Australia. The company was awarded the Australian Accelerating Commercialization Grant in 2022 and 2023 and was nominated for the World Oil Awards in 2022 for the category of Best Data Management and Application Solution along with other finalists Equinor and Amazon AWS.
In 2021 Peter founded Red Earth and subsidiaries H2 Canada and Renuleum Canada focused on developing a low carbon hydrogen, sustainable aviation fuel, renewable diesel, and e-methanol . Red Earth Energy will utilize Peter’s deep project management, technical and entrepreneurial track record to assist in the development of projects in Canada. As a native Canadian, Peter has the networks and know how to be able to move the projects towards financial close.
Don Lacey

Don is an accomplished Executive having prominent roles as Vice President of Plains Midstream Canada & director midstream operations of Spectra Energy. Don is a power engineer and is playing an instrumental role in the energy transition in Canada.
A visionary leader with over 40 years of experience in Pulp and Paper, Power Generation, and Oil and Gas, Don Lacey excels in conceptualizing and leading transformative projects. His expertise includes energy recovery, process optimization, data management systems, project development, and organizational change. Recognized for his strategic vision, Don has driven operational efficiency, multimillion-dollar savings, and a 30% reduction in safety incidents, ensuring profitability and sustainability.
A Power Engineer and member of the Institute of Power Engineers, Don previously served as Vice President of Operations for a leading International Midstream company specializing in the processing, storage, marketing, and transportation of natural gas liquids (NGLs) and crude oil. Most recently, he leveraged his expertise as Vice President of Business Development for a green energy storage project in eastern Canada, advancing renewable energy integration through innovative solutions.

As a Chartered Director (C.Dir) and HRCC-certified professional, Peter brings a deep understanding of financial and investment strategies, human resource management, and executive compensation. His tenure with OMERS, Horizon Utilities, and Hamilton Utilities Corporation has provided him with invaluable experience in public-private partnerships, regulatory compliance, and corporate responsibility, allowing him to navigate complex operational challenges and guide organizations through strategic transformation.

Jennifer Lauber Patterson

Experienced director in sustainable solutions with a strong track record in Board and advisory roles in Australia and Internationally. With 30 years’ experience in the energy, corporate advisory, banking and not for profit sector, Jennifer has specialised in the provision of financial, energy and risk advisory services.
Over the last few years, as the Managing Director of Frontier Impact Group (including Frontier Carbon and Frontier Energy), oversaw the development of innovative commercial business models and financial solutions that demonstrate with the right expertise and innovation we can move to a lower carbon economy and achieve social and financial prosperity. A philosophy to develop proven, innovative projects, businesses and programs, advise others of how to do it and to provide support for businesses and communities to benefit.
Track record includes strategy, leadership, strong management and development of leading-edge financial derivatives and capital solutions to address and manage governance and risk issues in energy, renewable energy, energy efficiency solutions, water efficiency, air quality and sustainable land. Currently a qualified AFSL Responsible Manager and an adviser in financial market derivatives and funds including carbon credits and other environmental market products. She is a graduate from the Institute of Company Directors and a CPA.
